OLLI Advisory Board
Without participation and input from our members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UCLA, we could not continuously improve and provide our community of learners a challenging and robust program. We depend in large part on the contributions of members to help guide programming, fundraising, and marketing ideas. Advisory committee members meet twice a year, and assist with strategic planning in areas of fundraising, attracting new and retaining existing members, program development, and marketing.
The Membership Committee helps recruit, orient and integrate new members into the OLLI at UCLA family. The committee helps OLLI staff with strategizing membership drives, improving member experiences and strengthening relationships between members.
The Curriculum Committee is charged with developing a well-balanced offering of courses quarterly. The committee assists staff with reviewing course proposals, identifying new instructors for the program, and evaluating the strength of each quarter’s offerings.
